Labour Leaders Give Governor Adeleke Right Hand of Supports
Comrade Adekola Adebowale, the chairman of the Osun State Trade Union Congress, has assured the state governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, of workers’ support.
Adebowale, who spoke on behalf of other Labour leaders during a meeting with the governor, also praised Adeleke for interacting with workers. He said the gesture demonstrated the new administration’s great regard for government servants.
Workers in the state, Adebowale says, have no reason to mistrust Adeleke’s dedication to them because he comes from a family that keeps commitments.

“Let the Governor be assured that workers in the State will fully support him and, in fact, give him the support that no other government in the history of the State has ever received,” Adebowale stated.
Responding, Adeleke reiterated his administration’s commitment to the welfare of state workers.
Adeleke, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, in Osogbo on Wednesday, also indicated his administration’s willingness to listen to and address workers’ concerns.
Adeleke appealed for more time to allow the government to gain a better knowledge of the issues but stressed his administration’s willingness to look into the workers’ grievances with the previous administration.
“Let me tell you that I will be open and courteous to workers,” Adeleke stated. So, workers have a friend in this government, and we will not only listen to you, but we will do our utmost to address your concerns.”
