In a major breakthrough, the Nigeria Police Force has arrested Abubakar Suleiman, widely known as Miyaki, a notorious figure in land grabbing, for illegally invading a property in Aja, Lagos.
Authorities report that Miyaki was apprehended along with 10 associates, all of whom were reportedly armed during the invasion. This arrest comes on the heels of Miyaki’s alleged involvement in the murder of Idowu Keshinro, a staff member of a local government.
Before his untimely death, Keshinro named Miyaki as one of his assailants in a recorded video, where he described being shot multiple times while supervising a farm. Although Miyaki was previously arrested in connection with the murder, he was released pending further investigations, prompting concerns about his ongoing criminal activities.
This latest arrest has intensified scrutiny on Miyaki, raising suspicions about his potential role in Keshinro’s death. The victim’s family has called on the police to ensure that Miyaki remains in custody until he is fully accountable for his actions.
