Digital Transformation Enhances Manufacturing, Trade, and Agriculture
Kaduna, Nigeria – Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) has reinforced its position as Africa’s leading conglomerate by integrating cutting-edge digital technology across its operations. At the 46th Kaduna International Trade Fair, Fatima Wali Abdurrahman, Senior Advisor to the President of Dangote Group, highlighted how the company’s digital innovations have streamlined operations, significantly improving automation, production speed, and customer satisfaction.
“We have digitized our manufacturing and sales processes by deploying automated and smart systems, particularly in our cement plants. This has drastically reduced processing time and enhanced efficiency,” she stated.
Revolutionizing Manufacturing with Smart Technology
Dangote Group has fully embraced digital transformation across its core industries:
✅ Cement Production: Automated systems now control manufacturing and sales, reducing processing times from days to minutes.
✅ Petrochemicals & Refinery: Smart technology ensures efficient oil refining, fertilizer production, and energy solutions for Nigeria and Africa.
✅ Automotive Industry: Dangote Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (DPAN) operates a high-tech assembly plant, producing 120 vehicles daily with an annual capacity of 44,000 units.
“By assembling Peugeot models such as the Landtrek pickup, 3008, 5008, and 508 GT, DPAN reduces import dependency and provides affordable, locally assembled vehicles,” Abdurrahman added.
Driving Economic Growth and Job Creation
The Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) has lauded Dangote Group’s contributions to Nigeria’s economy, citing its role as the largest private-sector employer.
According to KADCCIMA President Ishaya Idi, the partnership between Dangote Group, the Federal Government, and Kaduna State is driving industrialization and economic expansion.
“Dangote Group has made a significant impact not just in Kaduna State, but across Nigeria and Africa,” said Alhaji Usman Saulawa, Director General of the Chamber.

Representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the trade fair, Dr. Dafang I. Sale, Acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, commended Dangote Group’s pivotal role in Nigeria’s industrial growth.
“The company is doing an excellent job in propelling Nigeria towards industrialization,” Sale stated.
