Aderemi Oseni Highlights President Tinubu’s Commitment to Alleviating Public Suffering

The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency, Aderemi Oseni, announced on Monday that the Federal Government, led by President Bola Tinubu, is set to undertake repairs on all federal roads across Nigeria. This initiative is part of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at alleviating the suffering of citizens.

Addressing the State of Federal Roads

Oseni, who represents the Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in Oyo State, made the announcement during a thank-you visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) state secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan. He expressed concern over the deteriorating condition of federal roads nationwide and urged Nigerians to remain patient with President Tinubu as he works to address these challenges.

He stated, “Tinubu is not the cause of the challenges we are currently facing, including bad roads across the nation. These issues extend beyond the current administration. Tinubu is working diligently to resolve the problems created by previous administrations. As part of his Renewed Hope Agenda, he is making concerted efforts to repair all federal roads across Nigeria, easing the suffering of the masses.”

Commitment to Party Unity and Future Elections

During his visit to the APC secretariat, Oseni also expressed condolences to the party for the loss of its late Chairman, Isaac Omodewu. He thanked party members for their support during his election campaign and encouraged unity within the party as they prepare for the upcoming 2027 elections. Oseni called on executive members to devise strategies to regain power.

In a show of support for the party, Oseni donated N10 million as operational funding, further demonstrating his commitment to the APC and its initiatives.

In response to Oseni’s visit, the acting Chairman of the APC, Olayide Abas, expressed gratitude for his support and acknowledged his significant contributions toward positively impacting his constituency.
