Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer Mr Tochukwu Ikenga has revealed that the police have detained Chinelo Udogu, a middle-aged lady who is accused of flogging a three-year-old girl to death and discarding her body in a bush.
Although the reason for the woman’s actions remains unknown, the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) has been assigned the case to do additional research, according to state police public relations officer Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga.

Ikenga stated: “The woman, Chinelo Udogu, who is accused of fatally flogging a 3-year-old girl in Amikwo, Awka, and discarding her body in a bush, has been apprehended, and the victim’s body has been found.”
”The lesson is that we should use caution while furious and refrain from using physical punishment to discipline our children,” said Ikenga
Ikenga said that the matter must be transferred to the state CID for separate investigations, and any new developments must be shared with the public.
