Expect 3-Day Sunshine, Beginning From Monday, NiMet Forecasts

From today, November 7 through Wednesday, November 9, 2102, Nigeria is expected to have both bright and gloomy weather, according to the Nigerian Meteorological Agency.

The northern region was expected to experience sunny skies on Monday throughout the forecast period, according to NiMet’s weather outlook provided on Sunday in Abuja.

Throughout the forecast period, bright skies with isolated cloud patches are anticipated over the North-Central area.

NiMet said: “Cloudy skies with brief periods of brightness are expected over the southern inland cities, with cloudiness over the coast in the early morning hours.”

It said that there was a potential for isolated thunderstorms later in the day over parts of the states of Cross River, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Akwa Ibom. You can read more of such stories at Credible News.

The northern region was expected to have hazy conditions on Tuesday with brief periods of sunshine.

Over the North-Central area during the forecast period, it was predicted that there will be cloudy skies with brief periods of sunshine.

“In the morning hours, there may be a few thunderstorms across some of Rivers and Cross River state in the inland cities of the South and the coastal belt.

Later in the day, NiMet said thunderstorms are predicted to pass over portions of the states of Cross River, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Akwa Ibom.

The forecasting organisation anticipated hazy conditions on Wednesday with brief periods of sunshine throughout the northern region.

According to it, the North-Central region will likely have cloudy skies with isolated sunny intervals during the forecast period.

NiMet said: “In the morning hours, there may be a few thunderstorms over sections of Rivers, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River state in the inland towns of the South and the coastal belt.

“Thunderstorms are anticipated later in the day over portions of the states of Cross River, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, and Akwa Ibom.”

It urged airline operators to obtain up-to-date weather reports from NiMet for efficient planning of their operations.
