“Stay Focused, Pursue Your Dreams, and Avoid Distractions: The Key to Success”

The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Lagos State University, Professor Olufemi Lawal, during the Faculty Orientation program delivered an important message on the need of students to focus on their studies.

He urged the newly admitted and Direct Entry students to stay focused on their dreams and not allow themselves to be distracted.

The Dean emphasized the importance of self-awareness and reminded the students that their mission in LASU is to study and successfully complete their program.

Other speakers at the orientation, including the Acting Dean of Students’ Affairs and the Head of the Counselling and Career Unit, provided valuable information and support services available to the students.

The orientation also covered topics such as keeping records and documents, undergoing medical screening, and maintaining security on campus.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the Sub Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
