Lawmaker Dies During Active Campaign Rally For Tinubu
Legislator for Mushin Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sobur Olayiwola Olawale, has passed away.
Olawale, also known as Omititi in the political world, was one of the politicians who descended into Jos, the capital of Plateau State, for the launch of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential campaign (APC).
At the protest, the dead apparently slumped and passed away shortly after.
An APC official who wished to remain anonymous told Daily Trust that Olawale was still with him on Saturday.
“On Sunday, we spoke while we both happened to be at Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon’s (GOS) home. He appeared to be in great health.
Without knowing the specifics of the situation, this could indicate high blood pressure. This is very shocking, whatever the cause of his death might have been.
