The Faculty of Media and Communication Studies is currently hosting the NUC accreditors as the Mass Communication programme in the faculty became the latest course in the university to be subjected to external peer review with the view of securing full accreditation for the next five years.
The programme’s accreditation team members were received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, on Friday, 17th November 2023 at the Senate Chambers in the presence of other members of the university management and members of the host faculty led by the dean, Prof. Olayinka Alawode.
Conversely, the NUC accreditation teams on Public Administration, Management Technology and Political Science concluded their assignment and submitted their report to the VC also on Friday. The exit meetings took place at the Senate Chamber and VC’s Conference Rooms respectively.
