NUC Team Lead Applauds LASU as a Great University
During the exit meeting of the Department of Botany accreditation exercise at Lagos State University (LASU), Prof. Timothy Namo, the Team Lead from the National Universities Commission (NUC), expressed his admiration for the university.
Prof. Namo and his team provided feedback to the Vice Chancellor and Management on their observations during the exercise.
He commended LASU, describing it as a blessed university that is truly great. The team visited the Department of Botany and the Faculty of Science, and were impressed with what they saw.
Prof. Namo thanked the Vice Chancellor and the Management for their warm reception throughout their visit.
In response, Prof. Adenike Boyo, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), assured the team that the management was confident in receiving accreditation from the NUC.
She expressed gratitude to the team and stated that the management would address any areas of improvement based on their observations.
The exit meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. Samuel Otesanya, the Deputy Registrar of Academic Staff Establishment, on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Management, and the Department of Botany.
The meeting was attended by various university officials and representatives, including principal officers, heads of departments, and NUC representatives.
