The authorities of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board have released an important information concerning the registration of 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Dates for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s 2023 activities were set on Tuesday.
For the start of its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, or UTME, registration, JAMB set January 14 to February 14.
The board stated that the Direct Entry (DE) application registration was not included in the scheduled dates.
The DE registration would take place between February 20 and April 20, 2022, according to a statement from the board.
The board also decided to hold its optional mock UTME on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

“Candidates are to note that they would be required to pay the sum of N1,000 service charge for CBT centres for the conduct of mock examinations,” the notification continued.
“So as to prevent a situation where candidates would indicate their interest to sit the mock-UTME leading the various centres to commit human and material resources only for them to stay away on the day of the examination.”
JAMB also fixed Saturday, April 29, for the conduct of the 2023 UTME, which is expected to end on Monday, May 12, 2023.
JAMB advises all prospective 2023 UTME candidates to create their profiles immediately.
