Fayemi Dissolves Cabinet Ahead Of Handover
The State Executive Council was dissolved on Wednesday night by the departing governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, in preparation for the inauguration of the governor-elect, Biodun Oyebanji, on October 16.
Dr. Fayemi, who made the announcement at the final EXCO meeting, told the appointees to turn over their duties to the most senior civil servants in their respective ministries, departments, and agencies.

He thanked them for their support and contributions towards the restoration of the core values of the state.
Dr Fayemi lauded the appointees for their selfless sacrifice to the development of the state and prayed to God to reward them abundantly
He said that the appointees had written their names in gold and wished them success in their future endeavours.
Members of the executive council shared their experiences from the previous four years during the meeting and thanked the governor for allowing them to serve the State.
