Beijing Stands Firm on Palestinian Sovereignty

China has strongly criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks about removing Palestinians from Gaza, calling it an unacceptable overreach and a violation of Palestinian sovereignty.

Speaking at a press conference, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun asserted that Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people and should not be treated as a political bargaining tool.

“Gaza belongs to the Palestinian people. It is an inalienable part of the territory of Palestine, not a bargaining chip for political games,” Jiakun declared.

🚨 Call for Humanitarian Assistance, Not Displacement

Jiakun condemned the ongoing destruction in Gaza, stressing that global powers should work together to provide humanitarian aid and support reconstruction efforts, rather than worsening the crisis.

“Palestine should not become prey to the strong. The war has already left Gaza in devastation and suffering. Major countries must unite to provide humanitarian assistance and rebuild Gaza.”
