Peter Obi’s Investments Value In Anambra Worth Next To Nothing – Soludo
The supposed investment of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, in the Anambra state government, according to Governor of Anambra State Professor Chukwuma Soludo, is worth next to nothing.
In an appearance with Politics Today on Channels TV on Thursday, Soludo made this claim.
Soludo responded simply, “I don’t know about the investment,” when asked about his opinion on government investments outside the public sector with reference to Obi as the former governor of Anambra.
Our interview is around the budget until 2023. I am not referring to any prior owners’ investments. By the way, I’m not sure about the one you mentioned. I believe I once read about someone making an investment-related speculative bet. The value of those assets is practically nothing in light of what I’ve witnessed today. So let’s set that aside,” he continued.
Soludo stated that more than 5,000 people in the state will receive their employment letters in the coming days.
He declared, “We are giving employment letters to more than 5,000 instructors to put an end to a period in which schools had no teachers.
If you look at the five fingers strategy of our programmes, Soludo continued, “We are fortunate to have 240 plus doctors and consultants to man our general hospitals. We designed our budget to keep our eyes on the ball.
Remember that just 6,000 of the 31,000 applicants who took part in the online recruitment test for teachers in the state of Anambra got through.

Following the most recent teachers’ Computer Based Test (CBT), 6,250 applicants were selected for oral interviews for teaching posts across the state, according to the state’s information commissioner, Mr. Paul Nwosu.
He added that the oral interviews had been set to begin on July 27, 2022, and would last for two weeks. He claimed that 3,250 would be deployed to primary schools and 3,000 to secondary institutions.

Interviews will take place at Igwebuike Grammar School, St. John of God Secondary School, and the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB) in Awka, according to Nwosu.
In the meanwhile, in response to the uproar surrounding the initial online CBT, Soludo ordered its cancellation and recommended that it be repeated, with the state government covering the applicants’ costs.
