Labour Party Senatorial Candidate, Oyibo Chukwu, 5 Others Shot Dead In Enugu
Bar Oyibo Chukwu, the Labour Party’s (LP) senatorial candidate for Enugu East, was reportedly shot dead three days before the presidential and senate elections.
This is coming as an unverified video on social media showed a man burnt inside a campaign vehicle with people around the scene weeping and wailing.
Chukwu was said to have been shot dead and then burned inside the vehicle he was in, though details of his death are still sketchy.
According to reports, the deceased was running for Senate, with his opponents being Chimaroke Nnamani (PDP) and Ada Ogbu (APC).
