Economy: Atiku Abubakar Policy Will Close Wealth Disparity, Says Aniagwu
Mr. Charles Aniagwu, the spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, said Atiku Abubakar’s economic policy plan will help close the nation’s expanding wealth disparity.
He claimed that the economic strategy outlined in his manifesto, “My Covenant With Nigerians,” was painstakingly designed as a remedy for the country’s socioeconomic and political problems.
The All Progressives Congress APC-led government at the federal level, according to Aniagwu who made this claim on Arise News, has so badly mismanaged the economy that food inflation shot up to 23.72% in October 2022.
He asserted that Atiku had the capacity to identify skills that could address the complex problems facing the country.

He added that encouraging private sector involvement in the renovation of several important industries will help to provide work for our nation’s teeming youth population. This was a crucial component of Atiku’s economic strategy plan, according to him.
In order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in governance, according to Aniagwu, who is also the Delta State Commissioner for Information, the Atiku-Okowa administration will put the Oronsaye report into practise.
He also allayed concerns about the differences between the party and the G5 leaders, saying that Nigerians could not afford a return of the APC, which had mismanaged the country’s security system and economy. The PDP will win the 2023 election, he added.
“Atiku is aware that the party’s offices and organisational structure need to be realigned, but the timing is the problem. The presidential contender is about to settle the pressing problems with the G5 governors.
