Court Sacks Elumelu

Ndudi Elumelu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) legislative candidate, has been dismissed by the court of appeal in Abuja.

The Asaba national and state houses of assembly election tribunal’s ruling was overturned by the appeals court.

The appellate court upheld Ngozi Okolie, the Labour Party (LP) candidate, as the legitimately elected MP in a decision on Thursday.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Ndudi Elumelu was pronounced the victor by the tribunal in the 2023 election for the Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency in Delta state.
