Six Corps Members In Gombe Mandated To Repeat Service Year

Mrs Ada Imoni, the Gombe state coordinator, has disclosed that six corps members who absconded are expected to repeat their national service year in the state

This is just as on Thursday, 1085 2021 Batch C Stream II National Youth Service Corps members graduated from Gombe State’s various local government areas.

Imoni urged corps members in Gombe Local Government Area not to belittle their modest beginnings by putting the skills acquired through the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme to good use.

According to her, the era of relying on the government for white-collar jobs had passed, and she urged them to consider ways to start businesses for self-sufficiency.

Imoni also urged them to reject thuggery and other social vices as the scheme prepared corps members for the 2023 general elections.
