LASU 2023/2024 Academic Session: Step-by-Step Guide for Newly Admitted Students to Register and Pay for Online Courses
The authorities of the Lagos State University (LASU) have said that newly admitted full-time undergraduate students are to note the following steps to complete their full registration.
1. All admitted candidates in the 2023/2024 academic session are expected to participate in the online admissions clearance, otherwise known as LACACA.
2. Only students who have reached 100% on the LACACA operations platform will be assigned matriculation numbers.
3. Only students who have been assigned matriculation numbers will be able to perform all the payments and online registration procedures.
4. Matriculation numbers can be checked by browsing the university website (www.lasu.edu.ng) and select the *STUDENT* *tab*, and then click on *CHECK MATRIC NUMBER*
5. Upload of scanned copy of *ANTI-CULTISM OATH FORM* (in .pdf format) on to the registration portal has now formed part of the requirements for online courses registration.
6. Acquisition of valid NIN and LASRRA identification number.
7. All students are to consult with their LEVEL ADVISERS for necessary advice and guidance on departmental regulations on the choice of courses to be registered before proceeding online for course registration.
8. Ensure payment of at least 70% school fee (Stream 1) or 50% school fee (Stream 2).
9. Ensure payment of GNS Compendium (Workshop/Seminar) fee; Practical/Workshop/Laboratory fee (for all students admitted into programmes that make use of Laboratory/workshop facilities).*STAGE ONE*
i. Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng
ii. Point to STUDENT tab.
iii. Click on PAYMENT SERVICES.iv. Click LASU CONSULT.
v. Select FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE GNS COMPENDIUM (WORKSHOP/SEMINAR).
vi. Continue with the procedure until a successful payment is made.
vii. Repeat steps I – V as appropriate.
*STAGE TWO*
i. Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng
ii. Point to STUDENT tab.
iii. Click on PAYMENT SERVICES.
iv. Click FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE or FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE (STREAM 2) depending of the Stream of your admission.
v. Continue with the procedure until a successful payment of school fee is made.
*BIO-DATA REGISTRATION*
i. Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng
ii. Point to STUDENT tab.
iii. Click on BIODATA REGISTRATION.
iv. Input your MATRICULATION NUMBER and SURNAME in the appropriate text box.
v. Click on SUBMIT.
vi. Complete the form appropriately and with correct information.
*ONLINE COURSES REGISTRATION*
i. Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng
ii. Point to STUDENT tabiii. Click on COURSE REGISTRATION
iv. Click on UG COURSE REGISTRATION
v. Don’t have a password? Enroll here
vi. After the creation of password, input your MATRICULATION NUMBER and PASSWORD to gain access into your registration portal.
vii. Upload your duly completed ANTI-CULTISM OATH FORM.
viii. All students are to read and agree to the LASU Code of Conduct by checking each of the check boxes one after the other and click on submit.
ix. Complete your courses registration and print the Main Registration Form, Course Registration Form and Examination Slip.
x. Submit all the printed documents to your Department for the endorsement by the Head of Department.
*Unsigned course form shall not be recognised as evidence of registration.
**ONLY REGISTERED STUDENTS WILL BE ISSUED IDENTIFICATION CARDS, PERMITTED TO WRITE EXAMINATIONS AND HAVE SEMESTER RESULTS.*
