UNILAG Alumni Shine Abroad: Two Nationals Nominated for Prestigious International Awards in the Netherlands
Two Nigerians, both alumni of University of Lagos, Engr Ifeoluwa Oyedele, who is the President of Alumni Association, University of Lagos, and Dr. Dayo Duyile the former Director of Nigerian Institute of Journalism, (NIJ) are to be honoured in Almere, The Netherlands at the Prestigious Voice Achievers Award 2023 on the 29th of September, 2023.

The two Nigerian recipients are among forty international personalities who have excelled in their various professions and who are being honoured with awards in their different categories.
Engr. Oyedele will be inducted as Patron of The Voice Achievers Award Incorporated, while Dr. Duyile will receive Award for attaining a doctor of philosophy degree in mass communcation at age 82 from University of Lagos.
The Voice Achievers Award Ceremony is an annual event of the Voice Magazine, a media organization which publishes hard copy news magazine and online equivalent and circulates to over 35 million readers in Europe and in Africa.
The prestigious event which is headed by a Nigerian journalist, Pastor Elvis Iruh, is not only celebrating people but also the boundless potential of African culture.
The Netherlands event is more than award ceremony as there will be an exclusive Business Forum alongside the award ceremony.
The event will also feature business discussions and lectures by top industry leaders from some European countries. The Award ceremony will be attended by accomplished entrepreneurs, Journalists, Media Managers, and Professionals from many fields.
It will hold for two days, from September 28 to 29, 2023.
