The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) under the leadership of Bishop Wale Oke has tasked all Christian denominations to unite in denouncing violent crimes and praying to stop the terror and killing of people.
Oke criticised the Federal Government for failing to protect Nigerians following the brutal murder of Rev. Isaac Achi.
While sending its condolences to the family of late Rev Achi and the Christian body, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the national president of PFN in a release said, the government should live to the oath it sworn to uphold.
The recent burning to death of Rev. Father Isaac Achi by bandits angered and grieved Bishop Oke. This is only one of the needless and heinous killings that characterise Nigerian society today.

Bishop Oke said: ”The country has a reputation as one of the most dangerous locations for Christians to reside because so many Christians have been murdered there.” These atrocious acts of violence are an insult to the value of human life and the teachings of Jesus Christ, and they have no place in any society.”
Oke expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the whole Christian community in Niger State and Nigeria.
No matter their denomination, Oke urged all Christians to unite in denouncing these violent crimes and in praying for a stop to the terror and senseless killings afflicting our country.
The administration and law enforcement were also urged by the cleric to fulfill their obligations to ensure everyone’s safety and to purge the nation of terrorists and bandits.
Oke said: “The death of Rev. Father Isaac Achi is deplorable because it is the responsibility of the government to safeguard the safety and well-being of all citizens.” Our administration is failing to stop the recent wave of violence, kidnappings, and terrorism across the nation, which is resulting in the loss of innocent lives.
”It is time for the people to take action since the government has failed to uphold its obligation to safeguard them.
The Cleric also urged the administration and law enforcement to fulfil their obligations to ensure everyone’s safety and cleanse the nation of criminals and terrorists.
Oke added, “The death of Rev. Father Isaac Achi is deplorable.” The government has a responsibility to safeguard the safety and welfare of all residents. Because our administration has been unable to stop the recent wave of violence, kidnappings, and terrorism across the nation, innocent lives are being lost.
It is time for them to act since the government has failed to uphold its responsibility to safeguard the populace, he said.
