Globacom Marks 20 Years with Renewed Focus on Innovation and Service Excellence

Credible News Nigeria reports that Globacom began operations on Tuesday, August 29, 2003, and has continuously provided its users with innovative, high-quality, and reasonably priced telecommunications services ever since.


“Twenty years of changing the telecoms industry, realising aspirations, and improving the lives of millions of Nigerians. We appreciate the support shown by the government, our customers, business partners, and other stakeholders “, Globacom stated in a news release issued on Monday in Lagos.

The revolutionary improvements in Nigeria’s telecommunications industry have been led by Glo. The price of getting a SIM card in the country was reduced from roughly N25,000 to just about N200 as a result.

The Globacom network also let down bookies by beginning operations on a Per Second Billing platform, an accomplishment that others had predicted would take another five years to accomplish.
