Islamic instructor gets a life sentence for defiling eight students

A preacher named Adam Farouk was sentenced to life in prison for sexually abusing and harassing eight students.

The clergyman was found guilty and given a sentence by an Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court on Tuesday for defiling the students in his class, who ranged in age from six to eleven.

According to NAN, Justice Abiola Soladoye ruled that the prosecution has proven all eight counts against the clergyman, which are related to sexual assault by penetration, beyond a reasonable doubt.

Observing that the court did not fall for the cleric’s claims, Soladoye characterized the man as morally lacking and a disgrace to the Islamic faith.

She claimed that the student’s testimony was supported by the fact that they recognized the cleric as their instructor, who had used his index finger to pierce their vagina.

The 10th prosecution witness, Mrs. Oluchi Nwoke-Okoi, a midwife with the Women at Risk International Foundation (WARIF), testified, according to Soladoye, that the students had vaginal injuries.

The judgment further ruled that while defiling each student individually, the defendant instructed the students to turn around.

“The defendant’s demeanor is nothing to write home about,” she remarked. He is incredibly cruel and harsh, fingering his students with his index finger, and his stony countenance gives off the appearance of being naughty.

What an Islamic teacher who abused the purity and decency of his underprivileged pupils by taking advantage of them!

He was supposed to teach his students principles, morals, and discipline, but sadly the opposite happened.

“We must respect the safety and dignity of our students. His kind of filthy Islamic professors need to be punished for their filthy sexual transgressions and imprisoned up.

The penalties for the eight crimes will run simultaneously, but the defendant is hereby found guilty on all counts and given a life sentence on each of them.

The judge also mandated that the convict’s name be entered on the Lagos State Sexual Offenders Register.
